On-Site Anesthesiologist Training
Records for the day can be reviewed and protocols developed with in-case teaching. Two one-hour lectures per day, practice can choose topics or otherwise default will be a standard teaching series. In-case instruction in between. If no cases present for in-case training, substitution of anesthesia machine, technical skill instruction, or additional lectures can be made. In-person on call training or remote consultation can be provided additionally by request with the same per case fee as listed below.
On-Site Anesthesiologist Coverage
Records will be reviewed in advance if shared by the hospital, a protocol developed, and then in person case management as the primary anesthetist (if single, sequential cases) or in conjunction with technical staff (managing multiple cases).
On-Site Veterinary Technician Specialist Anesthesia and Analgesia Coverage
Records will be reviewed in advance if shared by the hospital, a protocol developed, and the case virtually supported by the anesthesiologist as needed. In-person case management would be performed by VTS-A&A anesthetist. Availability varies by state.
Remote Anesthesiologist Coverage
Records will be reviewed in advance if shared by the hospital, a protocol developed, a brief pre-meeting with the hospital's technician and anesthesiologist, anesthesiologist will remain available (virtual observation of the case) throughout the case until transfer to recovery. Multiple case management is possible.
Remote Anesthesiologist Consultation
Perioperative consultation will include record review if requested, ~20min virtual meeting with the anesthesiologist to discuss the patient, provide consultation on protocol development or for intra-operative case management questions.
